MP14 metro – ALSTOM / RATP

The new Paris metro trains were inaugurated on 12 October 2020 on line 14. The “MP14” project will equip lines 4, 11 and 14 of the Paris Metro.

ITS OBJECTIVES?

• Increase the capacity of line 14
• Automate line 4
• Replace the old line 11 subways

A total of 72 new trainsets will be delivered by Alstom over a five-year period.

MAFELEC has been selected to develop an exterior lighting solution. This new front lighting signature is composed of a halo (around the windscreen) and a lower band (bumper) with a white and red lighting signature including the regulation lights and signals.

This project is 100% tailor-made, at the request of the client and is part of our partnership with the manufacturer ALSTOM.
